The Current Role of Regenerative Medicine for Traumatic Brain Injuries

In addition to stem cell therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is another treatment that can be done in conjunction to help increase oxygen within the brain to facilitate healing after a head injury. HBOT also aids in improving blood flow in the brain.

While TBI can lead to long-term complications, the potential to heal injured brain tissue holds significant promise for individuals who have been affected by the condition. Both stem cell therapy and HBOT may help to improve the outcomes of these injuries and provide a better quality of life for patients.
